Stuff about Stuff

What can I say...People always have stuff to talk about.  I am just providing a free place for everyone to talk about stuff.  Sure I guess I could have made this into some lame website that sells "Stuff", but that would be too easy.

Let me start by explaining some of the stuff that goes on within the website.

The Stories section is some of the featured stories that I have selected from the forums.  I will also consider posting papers that are interesting and help others trying to get published into a more prestigious publication. portable toilets Topeka

The Photo Gallery I will try to update monthly with various stuff posted on the forum.  The photos will be selected by image quality, tastefulness/strangeness of the photo, and forum feedback.

About Me
Well I guess this is as good a place as any for me to tell you a little about myself.  I was born in May 1977 in Monett, MO.  My Father has been a carpenter for longer than I have been alive.  I have also built the website for his business (  I graduated High School in 1995 and went to NEO AM (Northeastern Oklahoma) College for 2 years majoring in Criminal Justice.

After I finished my 2 years at NEO I joined the United States Navy in 1997.  It was nothing like I expected.  The military is much more laid back than many people think. As long as you do your work and be somewhat responsible it is just like a normal job with some added duties.  I really enjoyed the Navy, most of the time.  I have made lifelong friends and miss the camaraderie in the civilian workforce.  Apparently civilians are too worried about fraternization than having a good team that works well together.  Needless to say I got out of the Navy due to me always being gone and leaving my wife at home for months on end.

So how I got into web design...
When I got out of the Navy I went back to school to get a degree at the University of Arkansas.  I decided to change my major to Mechanical Engineering, which I found out I was so far behind on my math I could only take one math and an elective per semester.  Due to that I changed majors once again to Business, specifically Information Systems or Computer Information Systems.  In my first IS class we got to build a website with HTML.  I really liked that and wanted to pursue that avenue, however there were no website classes available at my college.  So I stuck with my curriculum and graduated with about a 3.3 GPA.  While attending the university I went out on my own and picked up bits and pieces of code here and there and built a few websites that I can be proud of.  In addition to this website I also have,,,,, and a couple more in the making.
